Question:
I have a interview on Thursday and it is for a on call retail sales associate. I don’t really know what on call means. Will they call me to come in most days and if anybody that has work as a on call person in retail can you please answer.
P.S. There is also a full time position open that I applied to should I tell them at the interview that I would like to work full time or push to get more hours or just be happy with what I get.

On call retail sales associate means they will call you when you are needed. Usually this means you start this way until you prove yourself then it can turn into a full or part-time position. This is also a way for them to see if you will work out. You can tell them you applied for the full time position and would prefer that, but don’t be surprised if they tell you it is filled.
